Read Across Oklahoma

OKC Metro Literacy Coalition is excited to help sponsor Read Across Oklahoma, the state’s premiere literary event for preschool and early grade children, Tuesday, April 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden. The first 1,000 children with paid Zoo admission or ZOOfriends membership pass that day will receive a free book and are invited to participate in a variety of interactive learning stations and special performances. The 2022 Read Across Oklahoma video features entertaining story times, author Dennis Mathew reading My Wild First Day of School, fun sing-a-along songs, our favorite zoo animals, interesting animal facts and more!
