Alexandra “Allie” G. Ah Loy focuses her practice on health care law, correctional medicine, medical malpractice,constitutional law, general liability, appellate, and premises liability. Prior to joining HBS, she workedas a partner in twomid-size insurance defense firms, where she practiced in 42 U.S.C. § 1983 civil rights, medical malpractice, personalinjury, and health care law matters. Previously, she served as Chief Legal Officer for a health care company, where sheassisted in its planned strategic growth from 44 facilities in three states to 80+ facilities across a seven-state region. Afterleaving her in-house position, she remains as that company’s national defense counsel across company operations.

Allie became a Certified Correctional Healthcare Professional through the National Commission on Correctional HealthCare (NCCHC). She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Oklahoma City University School of Law with a Certificateof Accomplishment in Legal Research Skills and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Business Planning andAntitrust Law. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma with minors inFrench and Public Administration.
