LaVelle Compton is a two time graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma. He currently works as the Data Governance Manager of the Chief Data Office at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he goes to work every day with a love for using complex samples of data of all shapes and sizes to implement governance and technical-privacy controls to ensure the reliability of data as a trusted asset across the organization.

LaVelle has always loved to read, and each day, he is reminded of how his love for taking in new words and numbers has influenced so many things that he is passionate about today. LaVelle’s goal is to ensure he can help create access to the resources necessary to break the cycle of illiteracy so that others may find their passions through text as well.
